Julia Lewis

Julia is a founding partner of REgroup, a collaborative practice for design and research in architecture and urbanism. She holds her Master’s in Construction Management and Bachelor’s in Architecture from NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego, CA. She has a critical eye for design and believes that architecture should be a holistic practice between the interior and exterior environment.

Gary Lewis

Gary Lewis is a founding member of REgroup and a licensed architect in California. He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from NewSchool of Architecture and Design. His contributions to architecture prior to REgroup include work at Estudio Teddy Cruz, Dreyfuss and Blackford, and co-teaching at Cornell University. Contributing works ranged from new models for housing and senior living at the US-Mexico border, exhibitions at the Venice Biennale and MOMITA, a new model for sheltering animals in Santa Clara County, and challenging students to examine architectures greater societal impact.
